We received a decent response ranging from informative, quirky, sketched to 3D explorations over all mediums of animation-enabling software. Here is the first draft of the Animators’ Showcase. Watch out for this space for further updates and if you have any personal or professional animation projects to be featured here, do mail us on firstname.lastname@example.org, with the subject line “Animator’s Showcase”.

This experimental fan video for artist Mode7 was crafted by Sourya for his new personal project #WeekendProjects. This ridiculously glitchy yet smooth animation which seamlessly merges with the music was a result of experimentation on Cinema 4D over a boredom-ridden weekend. Weekend Projects was initiated to showcase his experiments free of client demands and monetary hassles but soon he hopes that it morphes into something bigger like a movement which encourages others to start self-initiated projects solely for the love of creating. Sen works for BabbleFish Productions as an editor and do check out his other work here too.
