Branding’s past, present and future

There are certain things about branding that are irrefutable: companies, products and organisations will always need to position, or re-position themselves in a market. Yet many of the ‘truths’ we took for granted are being refuted as brands look to the future.

Michael Johnson’s company, johnson banks, is at the forefront of brand thinking worldwide and he will discuss how to reposition legacy brands such as Virgin Atlantic and the Science Museum, or turn branding theory on its head with examples culled from his global portfolio with projects from Japan, New York, Paris and London.

Somehow one small company in London is changing the way we look at brands – Johnson will explain how his team and his clients create a fertile environment for this, driven from the inside and the outside, collaborating to create change together, not apart.
